We are excited to announce that Danielle Coon will take on the role of Acting Director at the MD-ICCCR as current Director Peter Coleman goes on sabbatical in September 2019. Danielle joined the MD-ICCCR four years ago as the Associate Director and has played a key role in the day-to-day functions and leadership of the Center. With over 10 years of experience overseeing direct service programs in diverse settings and as an alumna of the Negotiation and Conflict Resolution program at Columbia University, Danielle is dedicated to applying principles of conflict resolution and systemic structural change to all management and project activities. In her previous roles, she managed programs in refugee services, housing, peace-building, youth programming as part of the International Rescue Committee, Habitat for Humanity, and Project COMMON BOND. She has brought a wealth of experience to the Center, along with her commitment to creating a supportive environment as well as developing and furthering shared goals.
